Biography
Jonathan R. Hayes has spent nearly two decades translating the plumbing of commercial payments into workflows that mid-market treasury teams can actually operate.
Jonathan started his commercial banking career in 2008 as a treasury analyst at Wells Fargo's Minneapolis corporate banking office, supporting cash concentration and ZBA design for clients in manufacturing and wholesale distribution. He moved to PNC in 2013, where he spent six years leading SWIFT implementations for middle-market corporate clients expanding into Canada, Mexico and Western Europe. He joined CorporateConnect in 2019, initially running the Treasury Services product line, then being named Vice President of Commercial Treasury Solutions in 2022.
His current charter covers the product roadmap for wire transfers, ACH origination, positive pay, lockbox, FX and reporting integration. Jonathan participates in every CorporateConnect quarterly business review with the CFO council and personally attends the first ninety days of every new-client implementation above $100M in annual payment volume. He lives in the Twin Cities and teaches a guest seminar on commercial payments each spring at the Carlson School.
